Tranquillity, Peace. A contact with nature and ourselves. El Cerrito, an Argentine turn of the century "estancia" (ranch), in typical colonial style. Its comfortable galleries blend with
a touch of magic the colors of the flowers and the whimsical dusk. The 8 acre park, with its swimming pool and aged trees, invites us to sip a few traditional "mates" under the green breeze
in the shade of the hummocks. Inside the house, decorated with antique furniture, we find three bedrooms, one of them in suite, a large living-dining room, an office and two bathrooms. Food is home-made,
just like the jams and desserts. But it is not only a question of sittingdown and enjoying: one may also indulge in a horse ride or a walk, stroll the paths on a Russian carriage and reach the brook
where we can have a go at our fishing expertise. Among the optional features, we may mention photographic safaris on the river coast, with bird watching in their natural environment, tours on speedy
boats, a trip on a rubber boat, fishing on the islands or playing golf on a 700 m link, right across from the ranch.
