Cordoba
Distance form Buenos Aires 710 km. The city of Cordoba, with Argentine first university also called "la docta" has several buildings of interest : the Cathedral, Cabildo (The Townhall),
the College of Monserrat, the Jesuit churches San Francisco and San Roque. Other Jesuit relics in the province are : Capilla de Candonga, the oratory of the Jesuit estancia of Santa Gertrudis, the
Jesuit estancias of Santa Catalina, Jesus Maria, Caroya, Alta Gracia and Candelaria. The Sierras (hills) de Cordoba belong to the sierras of the Pampa with several tourist towns like Villa Carlos
Paz, La Falda, La Cumbre, Cosquin, Alta Gracia, Villa general Belgrano, Santa Rosa de Calamuchita, La Cumbrecita and Mina Clavero. There are Casinos in La Falda, Mina Clavero and Villa Carlos Paz.
Cave paintings at the Parque Natural y Arqueológico Cerro Colorado. Other places to visit are Parque Nacional Quebrada del Condorito and the beautiful Pampa de Achala.
