What do you sell ? I am confused, vacation packages or customized trips ?
We sell both. We think customizing a trip offers a better value, however, the process of tailoring a trip may be lengthy so some people prefer a package in which everything has been arranged. Packages offer convenience and are delivered by experienced providers. Customizations may be riskier but more gratifying...

Why would any american want to go to Argentina ?
It is a long a trip, however, flights depart at night from Miami. Therefore, there is plenty of time to sleep or relax during the flight, which takes about 8 hours. Argentina offers quite a variety of landscapes and destinations. It is the 8th biggest country in the world and covers from Jungle in the North to snow covered mountains in the South, plus Buenos Aires, its Capital City, is a very sophisticated cultural and financial center in South America. Because weather reverses, Americans may find it ideal as a getaway from Winters or as a Ski destination while there is summer in the North. Such underpopulated country offers great unpoluted Lakes to perform any number of out-door activities, such as, climbing, rafting, trekking and canoeing. A roundtrip Miami- Buenos Aires - Miami has become fairly inexpensive and sells for about $600 to $900, depending on many factors.

Who are you ?
We are a small Agency that deals in a personalized manner with its clients, some of which, have been with us for over 15 years. We are dedicated to people and try to excel in what we do. When we don't have the answers we usually know who has them. Our staff is small, we are 5 to 6 employees working at the Buenos Aires office and there is one employee of ours handling the Miami office.

I heard Argentina is unsafe ...
Argentina is a safe country. It has been under a democratic regime since 1983. And has stabilized its economy since the early 90's. Recently, it suffered some economic setbacks due to crisis in Asia, Mexico and lately Brazil. Globalizing trends have brought prosperity but an unusual degree of dependency on other economies that, as has been happening in the last 2 years, sent the country into a recession. Economist project the end of the recession late this year. Recession contributed to the increase in criminal activity in larger cities such as Buenos Aires, however, this shouldn't become an obstacle if visitors take the necessary precautions.

Honestly I wouldn't even know where to start building an itinerary in Argentina ?
We understand.
Just tell us if there are any particular places that piqued your interest and we will work a trip accordingly. Argentina is better known among europeans and canadians than by americans.

For $2,500 per person I can choose from many other overseas destinations?
That is true and there is nothing we can do about it. You are free to choose your next vacation spot...

I have noticed gramatical errors on your pages, are you American ?
No. We are argentines. And we are aware we may be making a few gramatical errors here and there. Please apologize us and we hope sometime in the future to be able to afford an editor. By the way, if you call us, you'll find we speak with an accent too...

How serious are you ? Are you a big company ?
Not big. We won't be competing with Travelocity anytime soon...
But we are dedicated people. We are serious about we do.

Does anyone speak English down there ? What about the food ?
English is widely spoken in Buenos Aires and a few other cities in Argentina. In more remote destinations only people dealing with international visitors, such as guides, may speak english. Argentina has recently open its economy and many american firms have bought into our country. Therefore, it is not uncommon to find McDonald's, Buger Kings, Walmarts, Dunking Donuts and many other fast foods services as well as other classic american businesses.

Are argentines like Italians ? I heard they are very passionate...
We look like italians to some extent...and like them, we are passionate. During the first half of the 20th century there were several waves of immigration from Europe, mainly Spain and Italy (lower Italy). In more recent years immigration waves came from other latinamerican countries.

Are there any Gauchos alive ?
There are many Gauchos alive and they can be found in the countryside, usually working in ranches. They enjoy a well deserved reputation nationally for they have been a central part of our History.

What is the currency there ? Will I have any trouble with american dollars ?
Our currency, PESO, is tied to the dollar 1 to 1. Therefore one dollar is one peso.
Relative prices are different though and some items might be more expensive in Argentina than in the US, such as gas, which is almost 4 times as expensive. Clothes are also more expensive..

How about the weather ?
Weather is opposite to that in the US. We have our summers when you have your winters. Buenos Aires has 4 seasons, and the weather is similar to that in NY, although in my opinion, weather is milder and it doesn't snow during the winters. Rainy season for Buenos Aires is July. Winter vacation happens in the last 2 weeks of July and summer vacations start January 1st. To the North the weather is hotter and the southern region can have pretty low temperatures with many months of very cold weather (that is, in Patagonia)

I'd like to give it a try ...where do I start ?

I called a couple of times and got an answering machine...
True. Our office in Miami is quite humble and it is being managed by just one person. We apologize we can't always answer the phone right away, but please leave us a message so that we can get back to you as fast as we can.

Can you tell us about your philosophy of traveling and of doing business ?
Generally speaking, we favor experiences that are educational and induce growth. Life-enhancing situations are generally sought. Those are the kind of trips we would like to be selling. Plus, we care about nature as much as we care about people. We do not support hunting. We support Catch and Release style of fishing, and we try to promote low impact, responsible traveling that cares for local people's well-being. Our travel directory does not even list travel hunting sites either.
