Roberto, I am not familar with the flying and/or security process within Argentina. Is it as stringent as the USA? How far in advance does one have to be at the airport etc? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! | ||

Melissa, we recommend 1 1/2 hrs prior to flight. Two hours is an overshoot, in my opinion. Security procedures are nothing like in the US, even for international flights (although it varies depending on the airline you are flying). Locally, screening machines are operated within their belt systems so you won't have to pass your check in luggage through any machine. At a few points you may cross the standard metal doors and if they ring, then you are screened manually with hand-helds. Perhaps someone with more inland flights can chime in... |
