We thought maybe a night or two at the Sheraton for my daughter and I... but is it worth it?? What do you think of the Falls Inn, Yacutinga Lodge, Esturion, or Hotel Orquideas Palace?? We are on a budget, but can afford a night or two at the Sheraton if it is really that great. We've read mixed reviews of it. | ||

They have rooms facing the falls -very expensive-. I think the *star* are the falls when in Iguazu, not the hotel... so a cheaper option may just be fine. Most excursions are a day long. If you are spending a lot of your time inside the hotel something is wrong. | ||

Dori Lee, We rarely splurge on hotels, but the Sheraton at Iguazu was well worth the extra dollars. The Sheraton is INSIDE the national park and all the rooms on the fall side look out to the falls (part of them) and the roar and mist are clearly audible/visible. Getting up and being able to stroll to part of the falls immediately was a treat. Returning to an excellent buffet breakfast was terrific as well. We spent one night at a hotel in the town and the next at the Sheraton - while expensive, we were very pleased with the result! |
