Hi, I am a british citizen but have permanent residency here in Argentina. My british passport is due for renewal and so I need to apply for a new one.

With all the travel restrictions I am worried that if I leave Argentina on vacation using my new british passport I am going to get challenged because it is effectively empty, i.e. there would be no stamp saying that I arrived in Argentina previously.

Am I worrying unneccessarily or should I do something with immigrations to make sure I don't get in trouble.

Have any of you guys had experience in this area?

Wouldn't the british renewal agency cut the page from the old passport where the stamp is? Don't you keep the old passport with you? I had similar issues with visas stamped in old passports and pages got transferred or I was able to keep the old ones.
