My friend has been in Mar del Plata for a couple weeks now and is preparing to return back to the US. She has an evening flight out of Ezeiza and wants to hang out in Buenos Aires, but she will have her luggage with her. How much in advance of her flight can she bring her luggage to the airport? Thanks in advance. By the way, she is using American Airlines. |

Also have in mind that the trip from downtown to Ezeiza is about 40 minutes to an hour is traffic is good. It can be up to two hours if you have bad luck with the traffic. So going to check in the luggage and go back to the city.. is not that fast or easy. Some airlines use to have years ago an office in the downtown where you could check your luggage, but I doubt they have it now with all the security corners. |

British Airways open their check-in about three hours before. We had to keep our luggage with us recently, as we were at the airport 1.5 hours before check-in opened - tried to get rid of it earlier, but wasn't able to. |

Another alernative would be to contact the shuttle company "Manuel Tienda Leon" that transfers passengers from downtown to Eze and back. In the past, their old offices at Plaza San Martin had a small facility to keep small luggages. Not sure what the deal is at present. This has been the topic of business research by some members here, as there appears there are no places where to keep luggage while waiting to take an outbound flight later in the day. |
