I would like to travel from Ushuaia to Rio Gallegos. Looking at the maps I noted that there might be two ways to get there: a) across Chile (Ruta 3); or b) from San Sebastian along the Argentinean Ruta 3 to Cullén and across the sea to "Cabo Vírgenes" and from there along the Ruta 1 to Rio Gallegos. I could not find something like a Ferry or so for the b) - does this possibility exist at all ? Or would it make sense to get through Chile to Rio Gallegos and from there to the Cabo Vírgenes (the beginning of the Ruta 40) ? Thank you. |
