Ben, this is just too personal, I am afraid. Meaning it depends on likes and dislikes. For some, visiting the southernmost city in the planet (Ushuaia) is just enough to make it worth. Regarding Bariloche, some people consider skiing in its resorts the ultimate experience. Also, these options offer different attractions depending on the time of the year. Not possible to answer in a few lines. Still, here is my personal opinion. If this were a one-shot trip never to happen again I would choose Ushuaia/Calafate because what is there can't be replicated anywhere in the world. Whereas Bariloche has a resemblance to say, Vancouver (with a different weather) and perhaps many other places. Besides, how many other chances will you have to see the glaciers as they keep melting down? They may be gone in our lifetime! |
