Is it necessary to book internal Argentinian flights weeks/months in advance as is customary in the United States? Or does it make more sense to buy them a few days in advance? I will be in Argentina in June and July |

It depends on the destinations and the season. But as many are very sought after it is better to book in advance. June/July/August def 2 months prior. |

From the US -I am going to the Llao LLao Hotel in Bariloche and have to change airports in BA...any advice on which airport to airport transportation to use? How can you tell a good taxi from a 'bad' taxi ?? Thanks in advance - I am excited for my first trip to Argentina! |

Hi Bethany. I am pretty sure there are signs posted at the international airport with current pricing and comparisons between cabs, remises and shuttles. I did see them at the domestic airport on may last trip, a month ago. They were posted in the luggage pick-up area. This is something that shouldn't go wrong. Best and cheapest will probably be shuttle "Manuel Tienda Leon". Check their site for pricing and schedules http://www.tiendaleon.com.ar/home/home.asp. Wouldn't know if those are pesos or dollars! |

Roberto- thanks for the helpful information on Manuel Tienda Leon...I used the website to email them and they had my name posted on arrival, very prompt emails back to me...English was impressive and the amounts on the site are in pesos. They made switching airports easy! By the way - Aeroparque is in such a beautiful area ! Thanks again - I can hardly wait to go back and spend time in BA..by the way - I HIGHLY recommend the LLao LLao hotel...Bariloches is incredibly beautiful.. |
