Dear Sir, I am thinking of taking a language course (one month) and do a little travelling (one month) in Argentina this year. How can I find a "warranty person" in Argentina? I hold Taiwanese passport. For a visitor visa, the max. to stay in the country is 45 days. How should I do if I would like to be there for about 2 months (Sep. and Oct.)? Thanks a lot | ||

Hello Shiow-Ying and welcome! We have been asked in the past about our agency becoming a 'warranty entity'. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor foreigners coming into Argentina. We know little about this matter and our best advise is that you contact your local Argentine consulate in Taiwan. The consulate will offer you general and specific advice. Argentina has an open-door policy when it comes to immigrants so they may mention alternatives you may have never considered. Perhaps, there are longer visas for potential business investors or even immigrants. We do not know. Next week, someone from our office will contact the immigration/customs office in Buenos Aires and try to find out if there are ways around the 45 days limit for Taiwanese citizens...
