I understand that internal (and international?) flights are cheaper to buy in Argentina, compared with outside. Could someone please advise me whether the cheaper flights are only available to Argentinian nationals or whether they are also valid for nonnationals? If the latter, where do I get the best deal/websites for tickets from BA to Mendoza. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. In anticipation, many thanks - John |

John, welcome! Yes, argentines get better pricing locally. But foreigners can also get some deals depending on what the trips are about. Check this table from the aerolineas argentinas website: http://www.aerolineas.com.ar/ar/index_en.asp?pais= us&idi=en&secc=4&subs=6&id=166#CuadroTarifario It means that if you arrive to Argentina by AA you can then buy any domestic ticket at a discount. You can build a nice trip if you consider which destinations are non-stop and which connect thru Buenos Aires (the majority). Alternatively, a travel agent can get all the tickets for you as e-tickets. |
