I am visiting Argentina (a typical tourist circuit - Buenos Aires, Calafate, Bariloche, Igazu) over the xmas and new year period. Please can you give me tips as to what clothing (and anything else) I should bring in order to ensure I can pack as light as possible | ||

Richard, welcome! Buenos Aires temps will be around the 80's and higer but humidity will make it feel hotter. Iguazu even hotter and more humid with temps closer to 90's and higher (tropical climate), Bariloche's weather will probably resemble San Fransisco's with temps around high 50's / low60s but with some hot days when sun is up or around noon and colder nights. Calafate 50 to 55 degrees and windy, so cold. Although you may not need a lot of heavy clothing for this trip I advise taking 1 or 2 heavier pieces for the Calafate part. Sweaters should do fine in Bariloche. One caveat, many climate changes in the last few years so the above is just a guidance. |
