In country air-passes

We have plans to visit BA, Iguazza, and Barlioche perhaps even another destination in Patagonia. I have read some about air-passes from LAN. They seemed reasonable about 150US for the legs that I mentioned. I have read in this forum the massize airline prices that people were listing. Can anyone comment on the air-pass? Is it a good way to go? Is it easy to actually get good reliable flights? I am not sure about 'visite Argentina' passes. Do they still exist? Have you checked with aerolineas argentinas?
