Good morning all. Does anyone have information regarding transportation from BA to Punta Del Este, UY. We are traveling to Punta Del Este on 12 November for an overnight trip. Not sure what your arrangements have been but the travel agent should be able to inform you. You could basically get there directly by plane or by ship to Montevideo bundled by bus. The latter is usually considered one single transfer. | ||

Hi, The only time I went to Punta, I took a plane. The trip took less than 40 minutes (although there was time for champagne and ice cream onboard!) and the price was about $90. If you are just going for a day, that seems to make the most sense, otherwise you will spend your time travelling. The other option is a ferry to Montevideo and then a bus to Punta. Good luck! Thank you Sandi. Upon further checking, I think you are right. We are going for an overnight stay at the Conrad. While I think the boat would be fun, we don't want to waste all that time traveling when we could be on the beach at Punta. I am thinking I will contact Erna and make the travel arrangements through her service. We are truly looking forward to our trip. Lamar |
