Good aftermoon, I would like to schedule a trip for my boyfriend's 50th leaving somewhere around 2/28/07 and returning 3/17/06. We'de be fliying into Buenos Aires. I'd like to hit Mendoza first for the wine festival, then Bariloche and Mar del Plata in which ever order makes most sense. What is the best way to travel between these destinations? Combinations of flights, buses and cars works for us as well. My boyfriend speaks fluent Spanish, so communication is very easy. I appreciate any help that you could give or any direction/ websites that you can suggest. Stacey | ||

Hi Stacey, the most efficient way to visit the above destinations would be to fly Bue-Mendoza-Bariloche-Bue and from Buenos Aires take a bus to Mar del Plata as the last part of your trip. You should work on the latter as soon as possible for Mar del Plata is the most popular beach in Argentina and although end of February main mean the end of the season for many, there would still be plenty of people vacationing in the first two weeks of March. Using buses other than for MP it will complicate the trip unnecessarily. | ||

Oh contrair mon ami I do not agree that Mar del Plata is the most beautiful beach in Argeina. There may be more beauty on the beach, but certainly not the most beautiful. Been there done that. My vote, closer to if not Pinamar. | ||
