Provided your company is not involved in any backdating options scandal
Brokers will not know that as the same BOD usually doesn't.
This is taking shape. Costa Rica, on the other hand, has had a much longer history when it comes to preferred destinations for americans and possibly a much better reputation (no army, environmentally sound, etc).

I don't know anything about back dating scandles. One of the Argentine partners is a member of Green Peace. Our environmental impact statements are in the process of being prepared.
The government offers its support becaue of the number of permanent jobs that will be created and the associated boost to the economy.
Costa Rica is a somewhat of a success story. But when you think about the fact of its size, slightly smaller than West Virginia, compared to the tenth largest country in the world, there is no comparison. I mentioned Costa Rica because of the friend with a developement going on there and I know the prices.
But Costa Rica has problems, occasional earthquakes, hurricanes along the Atlantic coast; frequent flooding of lowlands at the onset of rainy season and landslides; 2 active volcanoes.
On Hurricanes which don't affect Argentina.
Having lived in Florida 40 years I can tell more than a few things about surviving them and then cleaning up afterward.
This is sort of scary,

On the environment, Argentina is a leader in green house gas emissions and a signatory on practically every world wide environmental agreement.
