I will be visiting Buenos Aires in early December and am interested in going out to Tigre for a day trip. Any suggestions as to where to go, what to see, events, markets, food, etc would be greatly appreciated. This will be my third trip to BA. |

Hi Richard Sorry but when I returned to Mendoza I have been working long time. I went to tigre but I think we went very later. You know, you will have different alternative to do in Tigre, I am sending you all alternative and you can select what do you prefer. 1- Fruit port, is very popular in Tigre and you have different artist, local commercial and you can eat. You can see in google maps S 34°25.162 , W 58°34.352 (I went) 2- cycling circuit: It isnīt good but if you like practice sport is good. You can consult in tourism office. (I didnīt go) 3- I went consult tourism office about different boats around DELTA TIGRE. You have different options and price, depending what hours you will visit. I think is good idea you go very early, you take a boats and you will visit a island, then you walking around all island and you can eat in the island. Tigre has a lot of island. If you go with a tourism company is more important because you donīt need consult and they know what is the best place or island to visit. 4- Delta Argentino Art Museum 5- Tigre Point: Located Tigre downtown and you can see different central commercial. S 34°25.781 , W 58°35.539 6- Museum Naval de la Nacion, has different boats. S 34°24.772 , W 58°35.186 7- Sarmiento Museum: Sarmientoīs house is located front Tigre river, you can see Sarmientoīs furnished and more history. Maybe you are not from Argentina and donīt understand about Sarmiento. S 34°23.04 , W 58°34.579 If you have other question, let me know good luck www.mendozahomes.com.ar |
