I was wondering where I could find good quality leather productas at reasonable prices? We are staying at the Loi Suites near Santa Fe Ave, and would prefer not having to have to walk or travel too far.... |

I know that many individuals go to buy leather goods at Ave Florida but, I found that prices are much lower at the stores located in the area of Murillo and Ave Raul Scalabrine Ortiz. Prices are like half to 2/3 of that of Ave Florida (downtown). |

Walk down Murillo there are stores one after another. It's not that far from Palermo. Less than 20 peso taxi fair from Palermo Alto Mall on Santa Fe. |

As Michael said, if you want cheaper prices you may have to travel some distance. Otherwise, look into shops in the area of Suipacha and M.T. de Alvear (I will try to provide you with a precise address and a name) or walk down Florida street (pedestrian), just a few blocks from where you are now. But I do not think prices will be reasonable in the nearby area. |

Jacques, Well worth the taxi fare based on the savings on the leather garmets. Good Luck. |

If you don't speak spanish, I would only deal with a store which has the price marked on the garmet. Just some advise. |
