Hi Guys, What are the costs of tours for these 2 places roughly including transfers? And where do you recommend staying in Puerto Madryn. |

Rima, a quote is based on many factors... How many nights, what type of hotel, how many people, whether it is air or bus, which tours to include, what time of the year, etc. A rough estimate for a 2 persons trip based on a double room, including airfare, transfers, 3 tours (P.Madryn, Peninsula, Whales) + stay in a 4 star hotel (w/breakfast) would be around usd $600+/- per person for all 3 nights. |

Hi Roberto, I arrive in Trelew so the internal flights are already taken care of, what I need is the following: Day 1 - From hotel in Trelew to Punta Tombo (including tour) transfer to Puerto Madryn after the tour for the night. (1 night accomodation in hostel or simple hotel around 50 -80$ max double room) Day 2 - Pick up from hostel/hotel in Puerto Madryn, tour to peninsula valdes + whales and return transfer to bus station to leave for Bariloche at 9.30pm. Thank you. |

For two days and one night thats a lot of driving and little time for sightseeing. If you only have two days, I would suggest to do the penguin viewing on the Pennisula and skip the drive to Punta Tombo. There might not be as many penguins but it is still amazing to see them so close..and you save yourself 4-5 hours of driving on a crap road, even as a passenger it is not fun. |

Really? I thought if I went all the way there I should go to both. Roberto, it would be good the get an idea of the cost if possible? Also in Bariloche do you recommend staying in Villa L'Angostura or San Martin de Los Andes? |

Villa la angostura might be a lot more expensive, depending on what you do there. I really can't quote your trip as such, specially if it includes hostels. I just don't have that information. What you want can be done but it is more like an on-site thing and as Elina stated, just 2 days and 1 night you will be running from one place to another. Distances may not be extreme, but some roads like the one to Punta Tombo may make for a slow drive. She gave you good advise. I would add, take the risk and do it yourself. Once in Trelew I am positive you will find the service providers that will put together your itinerary inexpensively and get you back on time for the bus to Bariloche. |

Thanks Roberto, are there service providers at the airport? If there is then it should be easy enough to organise that myself. Regarding The first question, I just wanted an opinion on whether to go to Villa L'Angostura or San Martin de Los Andes, as i cant decide between the two :-) |
