We are interested in visiting Argentina around the middle to end of March. We are specifically interested in a several day hike to view Fitz Roy and then just hang out in one location for a week or so. Where would you suggest? We don't need to be pampered just a nice quiet get away. Kristin |

I suggest the end of March, summer is over, most children will be back in school, things will be much less crowded. there are lots of places to go with inexpensive hotels and the quite life of small towns and villages |

Hello Kristin, hanging out is actually a very personal activity and how is done differs from person to person. I would prefer to hang out in a close location up north and would be looking into either Esquel or El Bolson. Both quite and unique and you will remain well within the confines of our marvelous national parks. But in either case you must travel over 700 miles... In Esquel -the closest one-, you might be able to do some really nice fly fishing (Trevelin). |
