As my user name suggests, I have no need for glaciers (too cold) or deserts (too hot). I like mountains and need to be near water, lake, ocean or larger river. I don't like large cities. I've read about Bariloche and it's on the go to list. Any other locations to not miss? When I find an area I like, I usually buy property of some sort. Thanks | ||

Alan.. Mendoza is MAGICAL.. It has Mountains, Skiing, Fishing, Rivers, the best Wine capital of South America. Plus its where I live. Also another VERY COOL place is Cordoba. These 2 and Bariloche top my list! Cheers Riyad | ||

Bariloche appears to be very beautifully located-and may be one of the most beautiful places in the world- but I believe has the reputation of being a magnet for the spoiled brats of the very wealthy-wealthy ski bums, if you will. A good place for chics to latch a rich husband. Bob |
