Hello all, I am currently residing in San Telmo (finallY), however, I realzied that the electrical sockets are slightly different than I thought, and therefore I need to buy a transformer and some adaptors. Is there a second hand place where I can do this? If not, any recomendation as to what they should cost would be helpful. Thanks, Josh |

Joshua, walk to the magazine kiosk/candy kiosk at the nearest corner and ask for the closest "ferreteria". These are small mom'n'pop hardware stores that have what you need. Just explain to the sales person at the ferreteria what is what you are after or bring your appliance with you. Adaptors/transformers/plugins are very cheap. |

Thanks Roberto! That was extremely helpful. I was concerned that the transformers would be very expensive. |

Actually may I interject and say that I reccomend you but the transformers from an actual electrical shop. They know this topic very well, and understand volts, watts, etc....usually much better than a hardware store |
