Hi From what I have figured out; it depends on the network carrier;cti must have a friendly contract with your friends network.I work off meteor from ireland and moviestar from argentina; I can ring all networks but txtn only works to some networks and not all the time. One way to make sure a txt goes through for me is to log onto my account with my Irish provider and send a free sms that way; I presume its routed through a different way as they always go through( also saves me a small fortune as txting from BA on an Irish mobile phone is 50 cent euro a txt). All in all its not certain if you send a txt from any argentine mobile that it will go through..We have tried this with all the major argentine carriers and it doesnt work all the time; maybe one in every three goes through and I have often recieved an argentine txt to my Irish mobile three days later. Hope you manage to get in contact with your mate Keith |

Hi, Mark.....I believe you have to have international dialing enabled with CTI. If it is a prepaid cell phone, the one where you load cards, it may not be possible. Your text could possibly be going to the same place where the one missing sock in a pair goes when I do a load of laundry. If you know your friend's mobile carrier in Oz, you might be able to send him a SMS message from the provider's website.....hope this helps. Suerte! |
