I am a graduate student living in Buenos Aires, doing research on medical toursim. I need to apply for some sort of a student or research visa, as my supporting organizations require this documentation.
I am hoping to hire a translator to accompany me to Migraciones, because I am nervous about missing something important. Any suggestions? Also, where can I find the contact information for the "official" translators of documents for the visa process? Finally, has anyone here dealt with getting the certification of good conduct certificate?

Hi Emily, if you can do this through your home country Argentiner consulate or embassy , you will save so much grief and frustration, and time. The certiciate of good conduct request covers your last 5 years of where you have been living...so if you lived somehere else in the last 5 years..get those "non-criminal" reports from there also. good luck!

I am already in Buenos Aires, because the Argentina consulate in New York told me no advance visa was available. How can I handle this process from Argentina?
