Hi All, I am a graduate student living in Buenos Aires, doing research on medical toursim. I need to apply for some sort of a student or research visa, as my supporting organizations require this documentation. I am hoping to hire a translator to accompany me to Migraciones, because I am nervous about missing something important. Any suggestions? Also, where can I find the contact information for the "official" translators of documents for the visa process? Finally, has anyone here dealt with getting the certification of good conduct certificate? Thanks, Emily |

Hi Emily, if you can do this through your home country Argentiner consulate or embassy , you will save so much grief and frustration, and time. The certiciate of good conduct request covers your last 5 years of where you have been living...so if you lived somehere else in the last 5 years..get those "non-criminal" reports from there also. good luck! |

Hi, I am already in Buenos Aires, because the Argentina consulate in New York told me no advance visa was available. How can I handle this process from Argentina? Thanks! Emily |
