Hello, I am a 23 years old from Australia. I arrived in early March and I am falling in love with BA more and more by the day... :-) I originally planned to go back to Sydney in July but now I am thinking about staying here until the end of the year. I hear that public universities here do not charge fees, not even for foreigners. I would love to study a couple of literature or politics courses for a semester at a public uni such as UBA. I am interested in pursuing a career in international law or journalism, so I am very keen on obtaining a level of proficiency in Spanish. However my university in Sydney does not have an exchange partnership with any Argentine university. Is it possible for foreigners to enrol at a public university course for only a session? Are there any requirements regarding language proficiency, costs or visa? Advices much appreciated. |
