I am thinking of moving to Cordoba from Mexico. I interpret by internet telephone for companies in the U.S. At the moment, I have Packet8, but am thinking of switching to Vonage. Does anyone know the maximum internet speed availble in Cordoba and the reliability of Vonage there? If I drop too many calls, the clients (understandably) get annoyed. Thanks for any help you can give me. Alexa Herrington - latinapostiza@hotmail.com |

Hi Alexa I am in Mendoza, Argentina, and I have Vonage.. It works fabulous! To get it to work flawlessly, you need pretty good wide band internet. Where I have fiber internet I never get cut off.. And where I have DSL (512K) it gets cut off regularly (after 10-15 minutes of chat. I however dont use as much as you would, so I am not sure if I can answer your question properly.. I am sure you would be pretty much covered in Cordoba, since it is a big city.. Riyad |

Out of curiosity I was wondering what firm you are planning to work for? My sister in law is in Cordoba and she is working for a call center that currently has a contract with MCI. She works in an office. She was looking for alternative work involving English interpreting and she asked me some weeks ago if I knew of any companies that needed employees that could work from home in a situation like you describe. I knew such companies existed but I did not know where to look. If you don't wish to answer that is fine I respect your privacy. |
