San Luis is 820 kms from Buenos Aires The capital is a typical Argentine city of the 19th century, old colonial houses, shady courtyards and a peaceful atmosphere. The Gruta de Inti Huasi was an ancient indigenous settlement. The Sierra Las Quijadas Parque Nacional National Park is a semi arid region of reddish coloured landscape. Places of interest are Sierra del Morro, and Merlo
