On Lago Argentino, only 36 Kms. from El Calafate, in the Los Glaciares National Park, we find the Ranch Nibepo-Aike, of incomparable beauty in a pure natural state.

The lodge of the Ranch is the typical construction of Patagonia, now totally re-styled to offer the maximum in warmth and comfort, but preserving the fundamental original characteristics. The gastronomy service specializes in traditional foods. For example, the breakfast; home made bread, milk recently from the cow, cakes, scones and jams made on the property, lunch and dinner; typical food of the region based on lamb, beef, chicken and vegetables (mostly produced on the property). Nibepo-Aike, which is enclosed in the foot hills, and very close to interesting points, offers excursions, leaving from the property to the Glaciers Perito Moreno, Upsala, Ornelli and Spegazzini, nautical safaries, visits to Cerro Chalten (Fitz Roy), Lake Capri, and El Gran Chorrillo (natural waterfall with a big volume of water, totally transparent and of beauty without equal).

Within the 10.000 hectares surrounding, the visitor can take part in rural activities, sheep shearing, branding and marking, rodeos, milking, and horses the most simple for novices to the most complex of longer duration.

Fishing: The Estancia, which is situated on the banks of Lake Rico, has the equipment necessary for enthusiasts to enjoy this activity.

For lovers of wildlife, the natural scenery permits The observation of different fauna (eagles, flamingos, wild turkey, black neck swams and many other species).
