Hiking in Argentina

Will be visiting.. Salta (4 nights) El Calafate (4 nights) Ushuaia (4 nights) Myself and my partner are accomplished hikers (NOT climbers / mountaineers!) and are looking for some good day hikes within reach of all the locations above. I have some questions which I'd really appreciate some help on.. - Will the weather be ok (for all locations) at this time of year? - What's the best place to find resources / maps / iteneraries for hikes around these areas? - Is there good hiking within 50km of all the locations above? Would I need to hire car / guide to get out to the hikes? - Any other suggestions really appreciated. Many Thanks in advance Simon
