Completely Free Buenos Aires Tour! Every day at 10.30am. Meet directly under the Obelisk (on the cross-section of 9 de Julio & Corrientes), by the fence that surrounds it, on the central traffic island. Just show up on time or a few minutes before and the tour guide will be waiting there for you. This is a walking tour in English through the city centre, including history, restaurants, monuments, shops, major tourist attractions, green spaces, beautiful architecture and more. It is an excellent introduction to the wonderful, busy, intriguing city of Buenos Aires. See you at the Obelisk, on any day at 10.30am! (Message edited by admin on April 29, 2006) |

freebuenosairestours, you are welcome to offer free services that work to the advantage of turists but it will also be great to have some additional information as to who you work for, who is your company or background or -in general- what this is about... Just a note to our readers. In the spirit of community contribution posts like the above are fine but we do not endorse any of the offered services. As always, please do you own DD. I just took the free tour mentioned above. This free tour of Buenos Aires just began. It was actually very interesting and informative. And it was true that it was for free. Our guide was very funny and we enjoyed it. He asked us only to do one thing, and that was to spread the word. He mentioned that most people would be skeptical, like we were, but it turned out to be very nice. A good free tour. I recommend it. We met at 10:30 at the obelisk. It was humorous, we saw bus load after bus load going by with people trying to take a picture of the obelisk. All the while we stood right underneath it for free taking great pictures. Well, it is free and it is good. Alice, |
