Hello everyone, I have spent a lot of time in BA and will be returning for a week. I've been looking for some interesting day trips and read about Tigre. Any opinions? Other suggestions? (I've been to Uruguay, including Colonia and Montevideo) Thanks |

Pam! Tigre has Museum, restaurants and even a Amusement Park! Ah! Yes and a Casino and a open-air market on the weekends for plants, fruits and items from China and some even made in the Tigre area! Also glass items made in Argentina! Chandeliers! The same ones they sell at the Mercado de las Pulgas in BA! Your best DAY trip would be from Tigre to the http://www.flickr.com/photos/frassinetti/sets/7205 7594087601586/ where you can buy the best Christmas cakes made in Argentina,
..as well as a good launch under a Ombu tree,
.. and a walk around to Chine town!, well whats left of it as well as the cemetery, and or the island museum etc all in and around the little town on the island,
. or a trip to Carmelo via the Delta for the night and back again next day,
