I have read conflicting articles about this, so I thought I'd ask here. Is the Teatro Colon closed for renovations? If so, is there still an opportunity to see the opera in Buenos Aires this August? | ||

My understanding is that it is closed until May 2008. The orchestra,opera and ballet companies have all disassembled and are preforming either with provincial companies, some have gone abroad and others (musicans mostly) are doing some preformances locally or in the street. |
