Hello - I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on something exciting to do in or around Mendoza City in early January? Hot Air Balloon, Hang-Gliding, anything like that. I found a sight that advertises something it calls "Canopy or Tirolesa." Any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks so much! -Michael | ||

Michael.. Hand gliding definitely. Tirolesa is gliding on a rope, from one point of the cliff to another. Any time of the year. I can investigate further. Riyad | ||

Welcome Michael! And don't forget rafting for a change of "air" to "water". And if you are into water sports, Mendoza has 8 dams where you could do canoeing, windsurf, jets/ski, diving, etc. I would not know specific service providers but you can count on this as well as with 'parapente' and 'aladeltismo' services around the city. | ||

Also worth mentioning, horse riding in the Andes, not just for the day, but like 3 + days, roughing it up, camping etc.. 4x4 wheeling also Mendoza is big in adventure.. ! | ||
