Hola Roberto! What a great job you're doing here. I'll be in BA in just a few days, and I'm looking for somewhere to stay; NOT fancy hotel room, just a bed, quiet, security and privacy, near center city, preferably a double. My head's spinning from viewing hostel ads, whose online reviews I find highly suspect. I will be spending only a few days at a time in town, so leasing an apartment seems unnecessary. Advice? Welcome, Steve! Two pieces of advice: 1. pm some members here like Florencia or ruggero or Laura Zurro or Mike. They are all involved in lodging in one way or another, although a few deal only with high-end stuff. 2. You can also get a *clean* room, no TV, centrally located in a 3 stars hotel for perhaps $35/$40 night. Erna might help on this. You can email her at erna@travelsur.net A hostel might be an even cheaper option but you may not get privacy or may not get a downtown location. This page has bed and breakfasts in Buenos Aires, but chances are they will be beyond your range. I think what you want is a 2 to 3 stars hotel in downtown. You should also consider booking through someone who has checked some of this first hand, otherwise it's a gamble. | ||

hi roberto! well,it is always good for being able to help people.in buenos aires there are a lot of accomodations,but the idea is that the tourist feels like in his own house and that can enjoy the best services as the tourist deserves it. this forum is exellent |
