Hi, Can anyone suggest some Estancias near Buenos Aires (San Antonio de Areco maybe) where my wife & I could stay to learn to horse ride for a few days. We only speak English (sorry!) and would need to travel from Buenos Aires by bus. We will be in Argentina in October. Regards, Robin |

Robin, many estancias -if not all of them- offer horse riding and horse riding lessons and most of them have transfers arranged from your place of stay or airport. I imagine you will be staying at the estancia for the lessons? Unless you want to take up Polo classes, which may require a specialized estancia. |

One more thing to add to the list of things to do. Offer horseback riding instructions given by a bilingual instructor. Check back with me closer to your travel time. I may be able to hook you up for a price lower than the norm. First I have to figure out what the norm is and go from there. In any event, enjoy Argentina, it is truly one of the greatest countries on earth. And I have been to more than two. Good luck Hasta Luego Tom |
