*waves to everyone in Buenos Aires* anyone know of a good size, roomy, 2bm apartment or house, suitable for 3 adults, all three people would require their own bed, so three separate beds.

The apartment is wanted for one month around mid Sep - mid Oct 2010, dates yet to be finalised.

Areas considered are: Palermo (not soho) Belgrano, Recoleta and Barrio... If you know of a nice, clean, safe 2bm apartment with all the modern facilities for three foreigners please let me know here on the thread or message me.

Hi Carmen,

Your apt looks lovely. What price is the apt for one month? are there any other costs?
Are there elevators to the top?
What floor is the top floor?
Is the apt surrounded by other blocks of apts?
Is it a safe building with security?

Cheers

Thank you!

Regarding your questions:

-One month: US 2100.-
-No other costs: all included. Maid service once a week included aswell.
-There are elevetors going to the top.
-The top floor is the 11th. Last floor of the building.
-The entrance to the apartment is on the 10th.
-The building has open view. It is in the back front of the building and you can appreciate through the pictures the buildings in front are far away.
-The building is safe. Has a Portero and an assistant so, from 8am to 12 and from 5 to 8 the Portero is around.
-No Security Personel.

If you had any other question, please let me know.

Hiya Carmen

Unfortunately $2100 USD is way too expensive and blows our budget right out the door.

I should have mentioned our budget is no more than: $900 USD - $1300 USD

Thank you all the same, have a wonderful day :-)

myob, no problems with the forum. Are you getting an alert from my post? If not, I will double check. I have been working on the pm system to have it show the sender's email address. Maybe I messed up. Just in case, please check also your junk folder.

hey Roberto,

Yes I received notification for your posting but not for the other two postings, how bizarre.

I checked my profile to make sure I had "ticked" to receive email notifications and I had :-)

Hmmmm, that's weird huh....

I always check my junk folder/s so I don't miss any emails :-)

How could our Roberto mess up ? hehehe

Between last night and 5 minutes ago I set templates to "cache" so that the forum could run faster. Perhaps, that was the problem. I have now reverted to how it was before. Let's see if this changes things...

It certainly is quicker to use the forum, thank goodness as some pages with loads of posts were taking too long to load, so this improvement is great! Thanks heaps Roberto, you do make this forum a pleasure to visit :-)

Can anyone else help please ???

A little more information: We require the following:
2bm apartment or house, suitable for 3 adults, all three people would require their own bed, so three separate beds.

The apartment is wanted for one month SEP - OCT

Areas considered are: Palermo (not soho) Belgrano, Recoleta and Barrio... If you know of a nice, clean, safe 2bm apartment with all the modern facilities for three foreigners please let me know here on the thread or message me. We would love a view, full kitchen facilities, phone, high speed internet etc

We would ideally love a view, high rise apartment OR ground floor, close to all amenities, subway, supermarkets, shopping, restaurants etc. We are not drinkers or party goers or into the club scene so prefer a quieter neighbourhood. We are also non smokers. We are ages 37 - 49, three married women, who love the cafe scene, sightseeing and shopping and bargains!

We do not want to be overcharged, but are happy to pay the going rate, we have BA friends who are advising us of what is the "norm" for BA...

Our budget: $950USD - $1350USD we would prefer to have three bigger beds rather than three twin beds or three single beds

We are three mature adults, one of us coming to BA for surgery and two friends are accompanying for support and vacation time. The apartment will be well looked after and cared for.

We look forward to hearing back from you and would love all details and photos on any properties that you think may suit our needs.

Have a sensational day!

Best Regards
MYOB

Hi Roberto,
I'm also experiencing slowness in receiving posts and most of them are missed until several days after they were posted. Some of them I never receive. Weird.

Thank you Cynthia,

I remember seeing this apt listed last year too. I will be in touch after we have read about it. I do wonder if it may be a little small for three adults sharing for a whole month :-)

Roberto,

I for what ever reason I do not receive emails to posts from this page ???? I have ticked the box to accept emails when ever a response comes in to this thread.

My emails are like what Cynthia describes as well :-) Weird

Yet I got your response to the other thread? Got spooks in the thread, ha!

I will double check with the hosting provider to make sure all scripts are running fine. They made changes not too long ago, so... As for the delay receiving alerts, there is a lag set in purpose to prevent spamming. It is a safety feature. So alerts will not be mail immediately after someone posts but with a lag. I will come back to this thread after I hear from the hosting provider.

try byt at www.bytargentina.com they have been around for a while; are well priced and organized. i have rented from them off and on for years. remeber that argentine business culture may be slightly different than what you are used to you may have to telephone. discount alling services are only 1.5 to 2.0 cents per minute.ask questions! many of the agencies that post here will likely be out of your pRice range eg apartmentsBA, rentingBA

Thank you and I was a year ago in touch with www.bytargentina.com and again recently too. Yes they do seem very organised and professional and they will probably be whom we will rent with.

Thank you again to Michael for all your help and to you to Robert, thank you :-)
