My husband and I are seniors who have enjoyed B's A's on two previous trips. The one thing missing was meeting people and making new friends as we don't speak Spanish. Any suggestions about how to meet local people or other tourists who are interested in discussing world events, travel, art, music, literature, theatre, etc. We are not into the bar scene, but enjoy convivial wine and good food. Check out http://s-xyspanishclub.blogspot.com/ (Replace the - with an e. It's not pron.) or http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/ They both are good resources for people who want to practice both Spanish and English. Also, I hear in Retiro or Recoleta there's a good bar to for seniors but I'm not sure what the name is. |
