Just got my hands to a great article about farming and fincas in Argentina. May answer some questions raised here on previous threads... "So, if land that could be turned to income producing farms was going to be it, I just needed to determine exactly where I would invest. As a disciplined real estate value buyer, I started looking at several countries, that had affordable land, good soils & plentiful water, which had a relatively stable socio-political environment with relatively low terrorist possibilities, that had a potential to rise much higher, and that had already shown recent signs of growth with lots of room for more. These were my requirements and the more and more I researched this, the more it became obvious, it was going to be Argentina! Mind you, Chile, next door, has the same soil, climate and water, but that land there costs five times more!" Full read here |
