My partners and I are planning a resort retirement community in Argentina that will have a golf course, marina, hotels, restaurants, casino and other resort amenities. The total acrege involved is over 14,000 acres with 8 kilometers (4.976 miles)on the ocean and 7 kilometers (4.34959miles) on a deep water river flowing into the ocean. There are several smaller rivers and a small lake on the property. The propety will be used to build a resort retirement community. The weather is mild year round, similiar to Central Florida but they do not have hurricanes or tornados. The provincial government has expressed in writing its full support for the project. It is a win-win situation. If you have any ideas or suggestions or if you are interested or know anyone who finances projects of this size or know anyone who might be interested in investing please contact me. Thanks for your time and consideration. Tom |

The property is about half way between Buenos Aires and Mar Del Plata. It is a beautiful sea shore area with a lot of recreation. |

Sounds fantastic! I'm sure its somewhere between Pinamar and Mar del Plata, as in between Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata you only have land........ Sounds like a small harbour could be easily built, and then a lighthouse would be a good idea help the navigation of the recreation boats of the residents and visitors coming in and out…… A small airport would also be nice… doesn’t have to be a paved one, could be used for small airplanes, so one could be there in just an hour or so…. There is the motorway, Ruta 2 all the way to Mar del Plata, guess that will help, and it’s nearly all a duel carriage way to Pinamar……. I wonder which would be the short route there. |

That does sound good doesn't it Bob. I like the idea of a small airport. Makes it really accessable. By car, by sea, or by air, hmmm. I will be going down there next week. I will take some better pictures than I did last time. I will give you a look. Hasta Luego Tom |

I've talked to a couple of groups that are planning similar ideas. I heard of one that would like to do this in Punta del Este, Uruguay. What's convenient is that it's accessible by plane (45 minute daily flights to Buenos Aires), boat (Buquebus) and car (1.5 hours to Montevideo). It will be interesting to see these projects develop over the next few years. I truly believe that foreigners with capital are going to really change several projects here in this area. Good luck all. |

I am still working on the retirement community. we need some investors. We are thinking that we should sell the beach and a portion of the river front property to a resort developer. http://www.argentinahunting.4t.com |
