we are going to Buenos Aires for one week, and take a side trip. Don't want to spend alot so we plan to take a bus somewhere in order to save $$. Culture, history, good food, even enjoy nature trips. Considered Punta del Este or Mar de Plata, what do you recommend? It won't even be warm there. Seems Cordoba and Mendoza are interesting, but too far($$$flying) Don't know if we want to be among alot of tourists in Aguazu. We are from San Francisco, California. Our favorite places to travel have been Mexico (of course we are Mexican!) and Italy. Also love nature. Colonia and Tigre seemed not so interesting?? Thank you for any advice. First time in Argentina.} |

Hi Leticia, My partner Nora and I are in the business of travel/tourism and health tourism here in BA. We have resources both for lodging (from high end hotels to inexpensive rooms in private homes), and travel in and around Buenos Aires. Both of us are quite involved with the tango community here so if you are interested in a tango event we can take care of that as well. All within your budget. If you are intersted we can speak further. Natalie |

Hi Leticia, When you say a side trip, how long do you mean? For a day you can to Colonia in Uruguay, but to go to Puntea del Este or Mar del Plata you will need a few days. What time of year are you planning on coming? Mar del Plata is a beautiful city even in the winter, with wonderful coastal walks and many places to eat and enjoy the views. Regards from Mar del Plata Michelle |
