Hey Roberto, me again... he he I have some Canadian money I would like to exchange, and have not been able to find a bank that would accept it. One bank reffered me to an casa de cambio, but the rates are awful... any recommendations? Thanks! |

Ar the casa de cambio they gave me 2.60 so for 25 dollars they gave me only 65 pesos. When I complained they said that if I exchanged 1000$ Canadian dollars, they could give me 2.70... as if I woulf take that kind of amount to a casa de cambio! Well now I still have about 160 to exchange... |

What about the Canadian Embassy? Could you go there and ask or call them? |

In addition to William's suggestion I would look for a reputable exchange house. Where was it that you were trying to get the pesos at? Did you try any of the places in the financial district around Sarmiento and Reconquista? Over there, there are plenty and you can check a few to make sure they are dealing with you in a straight manner. |
