By far the best way to get to Iguazu is by plane. There is a good chunk of driving and it may slow down your trip considerably, if you chose this second alternative. And, yes, I absolutely recommend staying one night at a minimum. Most visitors stay two nights. and those who wish the whole enchilada, stay three nights. We have had many inquiries regarding day tours and unfortunately, logistics do not help. Planes arrive once the tours have already started and they leave Iguazu earlier than the tours would end. In a few special cases we tried to accomodate day tours, but this requires a private driver at the airport, a private guide for the tour and even so, the return flight might be missed. We would discourage day tours. |
