Hey everyone, I will be going to teach English for 6 months in BA in January of 2008. I am looking for any information that you may have regarding living arrangements, roommates, transport, food and any other additional facts that could be relevant to my stay. I will be making around 500-600 USD a month and don't want to have to bring too much montey with me as a cushion. I am going for the experience, not to wine and dine myself...so simplicity is key. Besides a weekend flight to Rio, I won't be travelling much more. So any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanx! | ||

Leeza, welcome! I understand your employer is not covering stay. Look on this forum for posts about roomates. There is an expat who is renting a house with 5 rooms and that may be a good way of saving a few bucks... and staying in an interesting place. Check posts of "Larry". | ||
